What an unusual find! These unique sewing cards with holes for needle and thread, from the 1950's were made by Ideal School Supply Co. The set includes more than 60 cardstock embroidery pattern cards (100 originally). The cards feature pre-punched holes forming designs ready for stitching, making them both an educational sewing aid and a charming collection of vintage embroidery patterns. Designs include fruit, patchwork blocks, flowers, stars, a rabbit, mitten, snowflake, teapot, teacup, clover, and many more. The original box shows age, wear, and one worn corner. No instruction sheet is included. The set contains at least 29 different designs, with multiple copies of most. Cards measure approximately 3½ x 3½ inches and show expected age-related fading, but otherwise new.
