Vintage Royal Doulton Balloon Man & Seller Figurines: Hand-Painted Porcelain Set

Set of 2 Vintage Royal Doulton Old Balloon Seller and the Balloon Man Figurines. The Old Balloon Seller is one of the first figurines from the Street Vendors Collection. It was made between 1939 and 1998 when it was retired. Designed by Leslie Harradine. She is high gloss and has lovely vivid colors on her. Hand painted and fully marked on the reverse. There is no date on her but only the green mark along with HN 1315. I believe she dates to 1954 which is what the date on the Balloon Man is. Both of these figurines belonged to my grandparents and has been past down from one generation to another. She measures about 7 1/2" tall by about 6 1/4" wide. The depth on her is about 4". She has no chips, cracks but I did note a few ever so tiny spots where the paint did not take when she was hand painted which was common on these figurines. The Balloon man I believe is also retired but I am not sure of the dates on him. Designed by Leslie Harradine in a high gloss finish. Hand Painted with vivid colors and great shine. He is fully marked on the reverse in green an numbered HN 1954, RN 838448. He measures about a little over 7 1/2" tall by about 6 1/2" wide. The depth on him is about 4" wide. He is in nice shape. A truly lovely pair of figurines in porcelain, Made in England. A must have for any collector. Also makes a lovely gift to someone special.
