Vintage Shabby Chic Leatherette Display Jewelry Box, Photography Prop

Vintage cream leatherette jewelry box with cream satin lining in the lid, and a velvet insert. The box is from around 1950, and is an iconic style of jewelry box that delighted every woman or man who received one. Opening this box ensured that there was a dazzling treasure inside, and just seeing the box made every person's heart skip. It has "Cultured Pearl, Diamonds, 14 KT Gold" in the lid in blue. There is some wear and usual scuffs and marks, see photos. This was used, but lid works very well and it's a very nice piece. The body of the box is metal, so it's very well constructed.
