A striking hand-fabricated sterling silver orchid, built the old way — sheet-silver petals cut and shaped by hand, chased with fine vein lines, and finished with stamped sunburst borders along each ruffled edge. The formed center "lip" cradles a round red jasper bead, its deep brick tone playing beautifully against the bright silver. The orchid is an unusual subject for Southwestern silverwork, which makes this one stand out from the usual blossoms and feathers. Marked "Sterling" on the reverse. Unsigned, in the Navajo hand-stamped tradition, likely 1970s–90s. Hangs on a sterling rope chain marked "Italy 925" with a spring-ring clasp — a complementary pairing added later, not original to the pendant, and included so the piece is ready to wear.
