Vintage Table Top Compass in Turned Wood & Brass Casing by Ray Gillings Woodturner - 4 in D - Navigation Desk Compass Paperweight with Label

This vintage compass brings together Ray Gillings' skilled woodturning with functional brass navigation, creating a piece that works equally well as a working desk tool or decorative object. The handcrafted wooden casing showcases natural grain and patina, while the black compass face with brass pointers and green enamel detail shows only light wear—a testament to careful ownership over time. At four inches in diameter, it's substantial enough to anchor a workspace, and it arrives with Gillings' original maker's label, a mark of authenticity from this Exeter-based craftsman.
